~ dirty fairytales in german lit class ~

Once upon a time, on a platform far far away, I met a teacher who knew Godot.  Being a big fan of Estragon, I was intrigued to learn about his experiences.
And boy was he eager to teach...

For those not familiar with the play Waiting for Godot, most of the characters spend life without shoes.  Its a temporal analogy to the concept of necessity and the human condition.
Ironically, the concept of shoes came up quite a bit in his teachings.... Except, when it really wasn't about shoes, but a different type of puzzle piece....

It was a reading and writing intensive class, heavy on analysis and satire, and rarely easy to grasp.. The teaching methods used were rich with substance and profundity, with a deep lure you had to work for to achieve the knowledge they reap...

But its always worth it when you finally learn your lesson... The teachings were so rich in fact, that class often lasted from 7 am through 1 am every day; a constant exploration and discovery of sorts, centered in learning deep truths about life and love.

But as is the nature of learning lessons, that which is good, also has a bad.  And as pleasurable as learning can be, the sting that follows from a bad lesson is filled with a poison that reaches all the same levels as the good.

So what is the next logical step in matters such as these when things go wrong?
That's right! they get WORSE!!! ~~
The rapture of this nature renders reason and logic useless.
If there is a thing stupid and embarrassing and damning that can go wrong, it most certainly will....
~ it is not without a sense of irony ~

The mind tells you it makes sense... Get on the horse... Ride around.. Tell it like it is....

And when realization of the idiocy that just transpired hits you
A true teacher swoops in with a comforting hug that matches your crazy...
There is a dynamic change though..
This is the point where the teacher becomes a student as well, and
no one is in control.
I blame magic...
After all, what is desire but a spell that is placed on two people by some external unknown force??

There were moments of realization as well.  For instance, something you once thought applied only to you, you now realize applies to the both of you, and how truly fucked things are...

And you say to your self there is hope somewhere...
And you know somehow, there is understanding...

I suppose there must be a point to all this, but unfortunately, I have not yet graduated.  What I can share is that you can either:

Or, you can,

However you decide to write your next fairytale, remember, if you feel like this next meme most of the time,

~  Then you are most certainly, doing it Right ~
